Tigard-Tualatin School District seeks its next Assistant Superintendent

The Tigard-Tualatin School District seeks a visionary leader to help guide a diverse, highly-regarded school district in the Portland metropolitan area. Tigard-Tualatin is one of Oregon’s ten largest school districts with 10,800 extraordinary students who call TTSD home. Our communities of Tigard, Tualatin, and the smaller communities of Durham, Metzger, and King City provide steady support, as evidenced by the recent passage of a $421M bond measure in May 2025. Our communities have won multiple awards for livability, and families settle here because of our schools’ strong reputation. TTSD is large enough to provide a comprehensive academic program but small enough to maintain close connections to staff, students, parents, and the public. The Assistant Superintendent is a key member of the Superintendent Iton Udosenata’s leadership team, reporting directly to the Superintendent. We seek a visionary, strategic, student-centered, equity-focused and empathetic leader. Our newest teammate will be a skillful leader with deep instructional knowledge who demonstrates integrity and respect for others, and who understands when to listen and when to provide direction. The role includes overseeing the academic core of the organization and serving as the superintendent’s top advisor,.
