Creswell School District in Creswell, Oregon: Where Vision, Community, and Opportunity Align
Creswell School District is seeking its next Superintendent to build upon a strong foundation and lead a district into its next chapter. Located in Lane County, just five minutes from I-5 and fifteen minutes from Eugene, Creswell offers the best of small-town connection with easy access to cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities. With a population of approximately 5,000, Creswell is a walkable, welcoming community where schools are central to civic life—and where families choose to live because of the strength of the school district.
The district’s vision—One Team, One Dream—is not just words; it is lived daily by the Board, leadership team, staff, students, and superintendent. Following the successful passage of a 2023 bond with nearly 70% voter approval (one of the highest rates in decades), the district has secured an $18.5 million capital construction bond and combined that with over 11 million in additional funding through state grants. This includes a nearly complete renovation of Creswell High School, a new 20,000-square-foot Career and Technical Education facility, significant seismic upgrades, and upgraded athletic fields. Buildings are modernized, systems are in place, enrollment is steady, and campus climate, culture, student well-being, and inclusion efforts are showing measurable progress and staff come to Creswell to stay.
Creswell is the kind of community where people step up—whether during an ice storm, a family crisis, or a school need. Local businesses hire students, support families, and give back generously. Faith communities across denominations collaborate to meet student needs identified by schools, with district leaders often hand-delivering support to families. Friday night football, school performances, and events are community gatherings. This is a district that prepares students exceptionally well for college and life, now strengthened further by expanded CTE pathways. For the right leader, Creswell offers a rare opportunity: to lead a strong team, in a caring community, with the trust and alignment to make a lasting impact.
Applications welcome through February 9, 2026. Confidential inquiries are welcome to Christy Perry.
